2017 Infiniti QX60 Receives Extra 30 hp, Priced at $44,095

Details on the 2017 Infiniti QX60 were released today, revealing a slight price increase to $44,095 and an updated engine making more power. That price is $500 more than the 2016 Infiniti QX60. Opting for all-wheel drive will cost you an additional $1,800.

The 2017 QX60 is powered by a 3.5-liter V-6 that makes 295 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque—an increase of 30 hp and 22 lb-ft versus the 2016 model—paired to a continuously variable transmission. It’s essentially the same powertrain that made its debut in the updated Nissan Pathfinder, the QX60’s platform mate. Other updates include a revised power liftgate that is activated by kicking your foot underneath the bumper and an updated Premium Plus package that bundles in Infiniti InTouch Services. Additionally, the updated Theater Package includes a Wi-Fi hotspot option along with dual eight-inch monitors. There are no styling updates to report since the QX60 received a face-lift for model-year 2016.

A number of packages are still available for the QX60. For starters, the Driver Assistance Package costs $1,850 and includes adaptive cruise control, blind spot warning, and more. The aforementioned Premium Plus and Theater packages cost $2,900 and $2,100, respectively, while a Premium Package includes items like a Bose sound system and an Enhanced Intelligent Key for a total of $1,800. A Deluxe Technology Package is a pricey $7,300, but includes everything in the Driver Assistance Package and other goodies like 20-inch wheels and a moonroof that extends from the second to the third-row seats. Finally, premium paint and 20-inch wheels are available at $500 and $1,000, respectively.

The 2017 QX60 is available in dealerships now. Infiniti says that details on the QX60 Hybrid model will arrive by the end of the year.
